UML-based Modeling of Web Services Security
نویسندگان
چکیده
A UML-based modeling is presented to describe the security properties of web services and their composition. While closely reflecting the state-ofthe-art of current web services security techniques, the modeling language presents a way of enhancing the specification of secure web service system from low-level implementation-specific effort to high-level conceptual modeling in a generic form. Our approach gives a set of fundamental models extracted from current security techniques of web service and expresses these models in an intuitive UML-based form. We then demonstrate how these basic models can be composed, step by step, to obtain detailed implementations.

Choreographing Security and Performance Analysis for Web Services
We describe a UML-based method which supports model-driven development of service-oriented architectures including those used in Web services. Analysable content is extracted from the UML models in the form of process calculus descriptions. These are analysed to provide strong guarantees of satisfactory security and performance. The results are reflected back in the form of a modified version o...
متن کاملModel - driven Web Service Development 1 , 2
Web service technologies are becoming increasingly important for integrating systems and services. There is much activity and interest around standardization and usage of web service technologies. Contemporary web services are described in the Web Service Description Language (WSDL). However, WSDL documents can be difficult to understand for service developers. This paper recommends a modeldriv...
متن کاملModel-based Security Engineering of SOA System Using Security Intent DSL
Currently most of the enterprises are using SOA and web services technologies to build their web information system. They are using MDA principles for design and development of WIS and using UML as a modelling language for business process modelling. Along with the increased connectivity in SOA environment, security risks rise exponentially. Security is not defined during the early phases of de...
متن کاملModeling Secure Navigation in Web Information Systems
Secure web information systems are becoming increasingly important due to rising cybercrime as well as the growing awareness of data privacy. Besides authentication and confidential connections, both data access control and navigational access control are the most relevant security features in this field. Adding such security features, however, to already implemented web applications is an erro...
متن کاملUML Modelling of Automated Business Processes with a Mapping to BPEL4WS
The Business Process Execution Language for Web Services (BPEL4WS) provides an XML notation and semantics for specifying business process behaviour based on Web Services. A BPEL4WS process is defined in terms of its interactions with partners. A partner may provide services to the process, require services from the process, or participate in a two-way interaction with the process. The Unified M...
